FAQs

What are your areas of service?

San Francisco Bay Area. Including most of: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma County. I will consider going outside of my range with an additional travel fee.

Where do you attend births?

I attend births in home (midwife-supported), hospital, &/or birth center.

What is your pricing?

My birth doula pricing is sliding scale from $2,500-$3,150 based on the Green Bottle Sliding Scale. Payments are made in 2 installments.

Sliding scale overview: The top price ($3,100) is the actual cost of the service. If you choose a ticket price below the top tier you are receiving a discount.

The middle price ($2,800) is for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little-to-no expendable income. Paying for this service may qualify as a sacrifice but it would not create hardship.

The bottom price ($2,500) is for those who struggle to meet basic needs and paying for this service would still be a significant hardship.

Please contact me for hourly postpartum doula pricing.

I also offer an either in-person or virtual postpartum planning session for $250 that gets you set up for a nourishing postpartum period.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, bank transfer, major credit cards, Venmo &/or FSA/HSA.

Do you bill insurance?

I am Carrot eligible for birth doula & postpartum doula services & I bill Medi-Cal & Kaiser. Beginning 1/1/26, Kaiser now requires doulas to be contracted to receive payment for their services. I have contracted with Kaiser so billing them directly is not an issue.

I am happy to provide superbills/invoices for you to submit to insurance for other providers.

Do you work with a backup doula?

Yes, I work with Katelyn Berry of Berry Sweet Birth & several others.
